1sttitaniumphosphinidene

The first terminal titanium phosphinidene was prepared via an α-hydrogen migration reaction. This molecule exhibits a super short Ti=P linkage (2.1831 (4) Å) and upfield 31P NMR resonance for the Ti=PAr linkage (242 and 216 ppm). For more information about this species: Basuli, F., etal. J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2003, 125, 10170-10171.
